The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a globally accepted English proficiency test used by universities, immigration departments, and employers in Canada, Australia, the UK, New Zealand, and the USA.

It tests your Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills. Scores are reported on a 9-band scale, and most programs require a minimum of 6.0.
